58741 Tamiya Fighter NXGEN (DT-04)

The DT series of chassis and its Fighter Buggy models enjoy great popularity around the world, and have evolved through iterations such as the Fighter Buggy RX on the DT-01 chassis, the Super Fighter G on the DT-02, the Neo Fighter Buggy on the DT-03, and now the Fighter NXGEN on the new DT-04 chassis. Its body is inspired by full size single-seater buggies, and has separate body panels screw-fixed to its frame. A driver figure is also included.

DT-04 Chassis: Lively RWD Performance
This is a rear-wheel drive buggy chassis which offers ease of assembly and lively performance. It has an inline battery pack position, and a rear-mounted motor to give the rear wheels plenty of traction. The sealed gearbox has a built-in gear differential for smooth cornering and helps keep out dust and dirt. Two wheelbases can be selected: 265mm for emphasis on handling or 280mm for emphasis on stability. 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with long arms employs CVA oil dampers. Front skid angle is 22.5 degrees to ensure both controllability and powerful performance. The 3-piece steering tie-rod gives true steering. Here, the chassis features ribbed tires on the front, and grippy square spike tires on the rear.
